Prerana 2026, the three-day cultural fest of St. Joseph’s Indian Primary School, was held from 27 to 29 July 2026 as part of the school’s Ignatian celebrations. The fest provided students with a vibrant platform to discover, develop and showcase their talents while fostering creativity, confidence, collaboration and healthy competition. The programme was inaugurated on 27 July by Rev. Fr. Cyril Castelino, SJ, Administrator, Inigo Sadan, with the raising of the Ignatian flag. Students from Nursery to Class VII enthusiastically participated in a wide range of individual and group events. The second day featured group competitions for Classes III to VII and a Fancy Dress competition for Nursery to Class II, with students displaying remarkable creativity, enthusiasm and team spirit. The celebrations culminated in a colourful Valedictory Ceremony on 29 July, graced by Rev. Fr. Joseph D’Souza, SJ Rector, SJII and Director, SJIPS. The programme included vibrant cultural dances, songs and musical performances, followed by the distribution of trophies and certificates to the winners. With 1,445 students participating across 24 events and 519 winners, Prerana 2026 was a memorable celebration of talent, creativity, teamwork and the Ignatian spirit, inspiring every student to use their gifts meaningfully “For the Greater Glory of God.”
