The much-awaited Annual Sports Meet of St. Joseph’s Indian Primary School was held on 31st October 2025 with great enthusiasm and excitement. The bright and pleasant morning set a perfect tone for the day’s events. The programme began with a warm welcome to the distinguished guests, followed by the solemn flag hoisting ceremony. The students then presented an impressive March Past, showcasing discipline and team spirit. The graceful Prayer Dance that followed created an atmosphere of reverence and harmony. The highlight of the day was the presence of the Chief Guest, Dr. M. JebaKumar, and the Guest of Honour, Mr. Shankar A, whose words of encouragement inspired the young athletes to strive for excellence both on and off the field. The event was presided over by Rev. Fr. Joseph D’Souza SJ, Rector of SJII and Director of SJIPS, and Sr. Jain Benitta, Headmistress of St. Joseph’s Indian Primary School. The heads of various SJII units were also present to grace the occasion with their support and participation. The spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork was evident throughout the day as students competed with enthusiasm in various track and field events. The programme concluded with the prize distribution ceremony, where winners were felicitated for their outstanding performances. The day ended on a joyful note, leaving behind cherished memories and renewed inspiration for future achievements.
