On 15th August 2025, St. Joseph’s Indian Institutions proudly celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great patriotism and enthusiasm. The campus was filled with the spirit of unity and national pride as students, staff, and dignitaries gathered to honor the nation’s freedom. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Maj. Dr. Sathyanarayan S, whose presence added immense value to the celebration. The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, which filled every heart with pride. A grand march past by all units of SJII showcased discipline, coordination, and the patriotic spirit of the students. The celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Joseph D’Souza SJ, Rector of St. Joseph’s Indian Institutions, who addressed the gathering with inspiring words on the importance of freedom, responsibility, and service to the nation. The students presented vibrant cultural performances, including patriotic songs, dances, and skits that depicted the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the values of unity and peace. The event was a true tribute to our nation and a reminder for everyone to uphold the ideals of freedom, justice, and brotherhood.
