The Annual Athletic Meet of St. Joseph’s Indian Primary School was held on Friday, 11 September 2026 at 8:30 a.m. on the school football ground with great enthusiasm, energy and sportsmanship. The event was held under the esteemed leadership of Rev. Fr. Joseph D’Souza SJ, Rector, St. Joseph’s Indian Institutions & Director, SJIPS, who presided over the programme as the President, providing his valuable guidance and encouragement throughout the celebration. The inaugural ceremony was graced by Mr. Punith Nandakumar, International Para Swimmer, Ekalavya Awardee and Income Tax Inspector, Government of India, as the Chief Guest. The ceremony included prayer, flag hoisting, march past and lighting of the torch, followed by a vibrant and energetic drill display by the students. The various athletic events witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students, who displayed discipline, determination, teamwork and true sportsmanship throughout the competition. The Valedictory Ceremony was graced by Dr. Preethi T., International Swimmer and Dentist, as the Chief Guest. The ceremony included the distribution of prizes to the winners and brought to a successful conclusion a memorable celebration of talent, perseverance, teamwork and sporting spirit.
